Sam is from Newcastle, where he was one of the best students in his year. When he wasn’t busy teaching himself basic computer programming, he spent a lot of time at his local church helping to mentor younger children with their maths and science studies.

After a gap year backpacking around Europe, he moved to London to study Computer Science at London Metropolitan University, He’s proved to be a quick learner, and is still getting top marks. Outside of his course, he has captained the university hockey team and also helped them to build their own website to attract new players.

Sam knows that he can put his creative skills to good use with a career in the media. He hopes to join a big creative agency at first, and then once he has picked up some more commercial skills he wants to set up his own company producing online videos and webcasts for big businesses.
